Tech Producers Accelerator Program

The Tech Producer Accelerator Program is an intensive 6-week training designed to fast-track your career in technical production. This program combines online instruction with immersive, in-person training, equipping students with the skills to independently manage and execute video productions and complex livestreams in both studio and on-location settings. From setting up equipment to directing live shows, students will gain the expertise to thrive in today’s competitive media landscape.

A key component of the program is mastering the integration of technical elements to achieve a vision. Students will learn to balance functionality with visual creativity, ensuring the production value aligns with the project goals. This includes utilizing advanced equipment such as robotic cameras, flypacks and graphics overlays and more to support storytelling. Training emphasizes the interplay between lighting, camera work, sound and post-production, teaching students to create overarching themes with visually compelling content.

Hands-on training in video engineering and robotic camera operation introduces students to in-studio flypacks and on-location setups, where they practice shot composition, camera angles and equipment logistics. Audio production techniques follow, teaching students to capture and refine high-quality sound for both indoor and outdoor environments, overcoming challenges like ambient noise and weather conditions.

Lighting principles are explored in-depth, with students mastering techniques to create mood and depth in controlled interior settings and adapting to the complexities of outdoor environments. They learn to manipulate natural light with reflectors, diffusers and supplemental lighting, ensuring consistency across diverse conditions. Emphasis is placed on using lighting to elevate the visual narrative, creating professional-quality results that align with the creative intent.

The program concludes with students acquiring a comprehensive skill set, including storytelling expertise, technical proficiency in camera operation, audio and lighting, along with hands-on experience in both studio and on-location production. They will have developed a professional mindset, gained valuable industry insights and completed portfolio-ready projects that showcase their abilities.
